Radar
For explosive atmospheres
Ex(p) or Ex(s) Radomes are used for all types of monitoring equipment in potentially explosive atmospheres.
The Ex(ps)-Radome is designed to meet the requirements of ATEX or IECEx. It consists of a dome made of glass fibre composite and a stainless steel support structure. It includes an overpressure control system to ensure that explosive gas cannot enter. The system also includes an ex-safe work lamp and an ex-safe power outlet, as well as a switch-off protected electrical distribution cabinet.
Our radar domes are systems designed primarily for X-band Radar, with regard to physical dimensions and frequency.
Areas of use:
-
Radar systems for monitoring oil platforms – Ex(ps) certified for explosive environments if required
-
Ship surveillance radars
-
Oilfield surveillance vessel
-
Harbor radar/radio surveillance
-
Coastal zone radar monitoring
-
VTMS – Vessel Traffic Management System
-
Can also be used as a LAER (Local Area Equipment Room)
